Our Story
Wanna Walk was started by two people who grew up in this area and wanted something better for their pets — and yours.
Between us, we have decades of hands-on experience with dogs and cats. One of us has owned dogs since childhood and has been pet sitting professionally since his mid-twenties. The other came to dog and cat ownership more recently and knows firsthand what it feels like to hand your pet off to a stranger and hope for the best. That mix of lifelong experience and fresh perspective shapes how we built this.
We're Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley locals. We grew up here, we live here, and we walk these same streets. When we say we treat your pet like our own, it's not a tagline — it's just how we were raised.
Every walker on the Wanna Walk platform is background-checked and insured before they ever accept a booking. No exceptions. We won't put someone in front of your pet until we're confident we'd trust them with ours.
We started Wanna Walk because we saw a real need in our own backyard — and decided to be the ones to fill it.
